Domeda S.r.l. is an agri-food trading and processing company located in the heart of Sicily, in Campobello di Licata (AG). The company was born from a clear sense of identity: we are the children of Sicily who chose to stay. We are a team composed almost exclusively of young people who did not flee elsewhere to seek their fortune, but decided to sink their roots into their own land to harvest its best fruits and enhance them.
Our mission is honest and passionate: to bring local products to the table, processed with respect and wisdom, without ever betraying their origin. Every marketed item tells the story of the person who cultivated it under the sun of Agrigento, and sometimes even a more or less amusing anecdote, offering, in addition to the Sicilian flavor, a piece of Sicilian culture.

The products in the line are characterized by particular attention to raw materials, care for taste on the palate, and, above all, by a meticulous search for the nutritional balance of the product itself.
Lands of Agrigento
The name GIRGEOS derives from the fusion of two terms very dear to us: GIRGENTI, the old name of the city of Agrigento in Sicily, used officially until 1927, derived from the Arabic name Kerkent or Gergent, which in turn was an evolution of the Latin Agrigentum (from the Greek Akragas), and GEO, from the Greek ge, earth. Here too, a fusion between Arabic and Greek, a symbolism of integration of which Sicily has always been historically a homeland.
